Beginning with family and ending with dream homes, Womack Custom Homes is a family legacy started four generations ago. Started decades ago by their great grandfather, the homebuilding tradition is now carried on by Matt and Stephen Womack; it’s a story of passion and pride. With more than 30 combined years of experience in the construction industry, Matt and Stephen are experts in residential, commercial, remodel and design projects.
Inspired by the craftsmanship found in historic homes, the Womacks created a construction company to build high quality, custom homes throughout Northwest Georgia. Whether small or large, Matt and Stephen want every project to be custom designed and built to meet the individual needs of each owner and their family.
A local, family-run business, Matt and Stephen both live in historic homes in downtown Cartersville: Matt with his wife Caroline and their two daughters, Emily and Olivia, and Stephen with his wife Bess and their two children, Gray and Elise.
The key to their success? Adhering to a “customer first” philosophy, following honest principles and having respect for customers, employees and community. Both natives of Cartersville, Georgia, Matt and Stephen are deeply involved in their community. Matt serves on the Board of Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter and is the Fundraising Chair for Bartow County Rotary Club while Stephen coaches his kids’ sports teams including baseball and basketball.
