Behind every beautifully crafted home at Womack Custom Homes is a dedicated team working tirelessly to ensure every detail is perfect. Today, we are spotlighting our Office Manager, Bess Womack, whose expertise and organizational skills are instrumental in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Womack joined the Womack Custom Homes family in 2018, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. She is an invaluable asset to our company and has a natural talent for managing tasks and ensuring everything runs like clockwork!
Womack said, “We were getting busier and wanted to keep it in the family if we could.”
Womack’s role is as diverse as it is crucial. She juggles a multitude of responsibilities, from managing invoicing and subcontractor payments to ensuring insurance compliance and working closely with accountants. Her influence also extends to our social media presence, where she helps share the latest updates and projects with our community.
What drives Womack to excel in her role? The satisfaction of working within a family business and witnessing the team’s growth over the years. She shared that she loves her job’s variety and the sense of accomplishment from completing tasks and crossing items off her to-do list.
While working alongside family members can sometimes present its own challenges, Womack finds the most rewarding aspect of her job to watch a project evolve from initial drawings to a stunning finished product.
When she’s not busy managing the office, Womack enjoys spending quality time with her children and volunteering with the Cartersville Service League. She is also a dedicated Georgia football fan who loves cheering on her team with friends and family!
Womack said, “I love to be with my friends and family doing almost anything, but this time of year, I especially enjoy watching Georgia football together!”
