Our Womack Commercial team had the honor of refreshing the First Baptist Church and giving it new life as the Bartow County Probate Court. The project involved installing new flooring, fixing rotten and damaged areas, painting and more.
A unique set of bones for this public office, the newly finished Bartow County Probate Court enjoys a bright white and wood-toned palette to facilitate a fresh and productive environment. Upon entering the space, the visitor’s eyes are immediately captured by the restored stained glass window installations on either side of the building, as well as four elegant gold chandeliers. Detailed cream molding and white ceiling tiles continue the space’s bright theme.
Three rows of refurbished pews adorned in white and warm wooden detailing provide plenty of seating for court proceedings, and two wide aisles allow visitors and officers to move seamlessly throughout the room. A podium stands at the front of the seated area, ready for all official court business.
Beyond the podium, two tables sit ready for court use and mark the beginning of the judge’s bench. A refreshing take on judicial proceedings, the court reporter’s section, the judge’s bench and two witness stands continue the room’s white and wooden theme with white panel molding, adding a layer of texture.
Behind the judge’s bench, the State of Georgia emblem sits above the room as a sign of the area’s history, with two grand flag installations bordering either side. Two exits shining with white paneling and ornate molding sit to the left and right of the judge’s bench. Additional white panel molding, as well as column and arch features, draw the eye to the state emblem and provide a grand background for every Bartow County official.
