Remodel

Our team reimagined an outdoor living space with a custom pool house and inground pool. The custom pool house is the ideal spot for hiding unsightly pool plumbing and pumps, as well as pool chemicals and other tools. It’s also perfect for hanging out and entertaining!

The pool deck was renovated to include Belgard slate stone and travertine pool coping, and plenty of relaxation spaces were incorporated into the design as well.

Complete Renovation
Interior Design by Anna-Louise Wolfe McMullin

Originally built in 1931, this English Tudor-style home needed a major facelift to bring it into the 21st century. The Womack team stripped this historical home down to its framing structure to fix any rot and then replaced all mechanical, electrical and plumbing with modern systems.

Initially, the home offered 2,400 square feet of living space with three bedrooms and two baths. With the remodel and addition, it now features 4,200 square feet of impressive living space with four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. The updated design added an upper level to the rear of the home and extended its overall footprint roughly 20 feet.

Highlights of this historic remodel include fresh paint, restored flooring, contemporary light fixtures throughout, an updated kitchen, renovated bathrooms and built-in closet organization systems in the two walk-in closets.

The updated kitchen now features white, bright cabinetry, stainless steel appliances including a double oven and separate stovetop on the peninsula island, sleek subway tile backsplash and stunning granite countertops.

The renovated secondary bathroom now features updated tile flooring, quartz countertops and ceiling-height subway tile surrounding the tub. The refreshed owner’s bath now boasts a double vanity with quartz countertop, tile flooring and stunning walk-in shower.

Historic Renovation
Interior Design by Anna-Louise Wolfe McMullin

Established by the Etowah Valley Historical Society as the First Baptist Pastorium Burch-Miller House, this farmhouse-style home was originally built in the 1880s. The Womack Custom Homes team implemented modern design elements while preserving the home’s original, historic integrity.

Highlights of the historic remodel include creating a more open-concept main level layout by removing a living room wall and adding a supportive steel beam, replacing pine flooring throughout, completely renovating the kitchen and converting a stairwell broom cupboard into a convenient powder room. Modern design elements seamlessly blend with the home’s original features including stunning crown molding and judges paneling, elegant light fixtures and sophisticated fireplaces with mantels.

The chef-style kitchen now features a massive island with built-in wine cooler and microwave, stunning granite countertops, a contemporary herringbone backsplash, a farmhouse sink and stainless-steel appliances with paneled facing to flawlessly blend in with the surrounding cabinetry. Whether it is holiday food prep or simply evening entertaining, this kitchen now has the space for it all.
